Oh oh

Personally, I have Jeno Jando performing Beethoven's famous sonatas (Appassionata, Pathetique and Moonlight) and I do believe they're rather good. Especially the 3rd Movement (Presto agitato) of "Moonlight" which he performs to a great deal of "Extreme speeds and power" with the ...

the first page of piece X...nooo, that's getting too hard (or too boring), go on to something else... Haha! That is exactly my thoughts. I think you can all agree though that when the second page of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody is but glanced at one must cringe at the appoggiatura (sp.?) But yeah, an...

Thanks!

Thank you very much for these recommendations! I had a look at those Ciu scores and they do seem rather simple, yet effective in sound.

All your help is much appreciated!

When I first heard about IMSLP I thought "My God, this website is Jesus" however then I discovered it was offline. Now I eagerly await July 1st for the time that Jesus will come back again! Haha. I cannot wait for it. I actually cannot wait. I've been living off allpianoscores.com and free...

Mozart.
I mean, who else is Mozart?

I don't listen to him as much as I do Rachmaninov/Liszt/Chopin/Beethoven though, but he is just the number one composer.

Second best has to be Beethoven for me.

Franz liszt Piano Concerto No 1 in E Flat.

Man, what a rock and roll concert!
He doesn't go as crazy as he does on his solo works though (like his Hungarian Rhapsodies) Shame :(

Ooh, it's changed now. Now onto his second piano concerto in A :)
