The point I was trying to make is that on these kinds of editions (but not every edition like modern editions if the ink is not too thin), because this is such an early edition, converting these to black and white because the ink doesn't always work so great as there is a loss of detail from the col...

I might suggest also uploading the non-processed versions in color because the black and white versions loses alot of details from the original sources, so having both would be a good idea since these kinds of editions are more for study than anything else.

We need external site evidence of first publication, not necessarily just from the file itself. Did you read the "Please Read Before Posting" which outlines this?

If your uploading your own typeset, then yes you need to create your own category page even if its for the original setting of the work.

I would suggest you take a look at your message on your talk page as you uploaded under a PRO license.

No the field was never designed for something like that, it only can use simple templates and straight text only. Something like that would be best below it in the Navigation section or you can create a post under "Page" ---> "Discuss this Piece".
