how do you contribute to IMSLP?

I love IMSLP!!! If I have stuff that the site doesn't have, how would I upload it?

I'm asking this because when IMSLP is back up I want to do my part in contributing. That is if I have ANYTHING that is not already there.

There is efficient guides on the main site (once it gets back up) following them would be more accurate than relying on our memory.

First thing to do however, is to make sure the Composer, Publication and Librettist or translator, or editor (if any) are all out of copyright.

That is the most important thing.

Google actually hosts some scores. In the first page of each score that they have, they cite that they are perfectly legal.

And think about it, who would be stupid enough to "sue" Google like UE did to IMSLP? That's like asking for Mordor to spit out Goblins and demons at all of Middle-Earth.

That post doesn't really have anything to do with the title post....

And Google has had lots of companies sue them for breach of copyright and win something:

Although not all are successful, the do settle out of court which ends up them getting money or other things without the expense of court.
