Burgmüller, Blaue Aueglein (Augelein)

Post by steltz »

Even though the original title of this comes from {{HMBref|1877|110}}:

isn't this a misprint? Surely it would be Augelein?

Correct would be "Äuglein", may be "Aeuglein" in the original title, formerly one often writes ae in stead of ä.

So the page title should be changed, but it seems to me that "Äuglein" is preferable to "Aeuglein"?

I've changed it to "Äuglein". Aeuglein looks a bit strange.
While for example song titles of medieval composers may keep the old German version, all the other work pages should use modern spelling whenever possible.
