Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a score for Wilhelm Taubert's 5th Piano Sonata. This is a difficult piece to find. The Berlin State Library had a copy of the manuscript that was lost in World War II, and I have not been able to find any other copies or records of this piece. Any information would be greatly appreciated -- thanks very much!
As noted on IMSLP's list of Taubert's works (https://imslp.org/wiki/List_of_works_by_Wilhelm_Taubert), Op. 35 was published by Westphal, which was absorbed by Bote und Bock, which in turn was bought by Boosey & Hawkes in 1996. I see that there are other digitized scores from Westphal published from the same period (1830s). Does anyone know if there is an archive for Westphal or Bote & Bock that might have a copy of this score? Thanks for your help!
